Once a Royal, always a Royal! Hopkins High School has produced many outstanding football players who have gone

to the right. Some have done outstanding things in college, and even made Hopkins proud by moving on to play
football professionally. Below is some information on some of the most outstanding players to come out of Hopkins,

Michael Lehan University of Minnesota NFL

After graduating from Hopkins, Mike went on to play cornerback at the University of
Minnesota, where he was chosen as a captain on two occasions. He was drafted by the
Cleveland Browns and has played 5 seasons in the NFL, the past two with the Miami Dolphins.
Mike played tight end at UCLA after graduation, where he earned 4 letters and became one of
the top tight ends in the nation. He caught on briefly in the NFL after finishing up his college
career with the Bruins.
Terry Dillon University of Montana NFL

rushed for 1,569 career yards and his #22 jersey was retired by the Grizzlies. Dillon played
one season as a defensive back for the Minnesota Vikings before his accidental death in
